When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and ZIP code. We may also receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser, and device information, when you use the site.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- add you to the Run Bud waitlist and show whether we are in your area;
- understand demand by city and plan where to launch;
- protect the waitlist from spam, abuse, and repeated automated submissions; and
- respond when you contact us or send product feedback.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email for unrelated marketing, and we will only send product or launch updates when we have a legitimate reason to do so.
Who helps us run Run Bud
We use trusted service providers to host our website, store waitlist data, manage our content, and help us understand basic site use. They may process information only as needed to provide those services. We do not give them permission to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information while it helps us plan and communicate about Run Bud. You can ask us to delete your information at any time. We may retain limited records when needed to prevent abuse, meet a legal obligation, or resolve a dispute.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the information we have about you. You can also ask us to stop sending you updates. Send a request to hello@runbud.run. We may need to verify your request before making a change.
Children's privacy
Run Bud is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Run Bud grows or our practices change. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email when appropriate.
